Antiquers enjoy visiting San Anselmo, where over 130 antique dealers sell their goods on a few blocks in the downtown area. Strolling down Sir Francis Drake Boulevard is a shopper’s delight with a variety of local boutiques, galleries, Creekside restaurants, and antique stores.
 
Fig Garden is a destination for finding that special gift in downtown San Anselmo. Shoppers can browse endlessly in this eclectic gift store. Handmade hats for men and women are produced in the gem of a store, Madge & Me. Locally-owned, this unique shop offers ready-made or custom-designed hats and is in the historic Cheda building. 
 
Red Hill Shopping Center is beautifully landscaped and offers shoppers a variety of retail stores, coffee and bakery shops, personal services, and restaurants. Its outdoor seating areas are pet friendly, and the shopping center has a Pet Food Express and Kitty Corner, a pet adoption site.

San Anselmo Historical Museum gives visitors a glimpse into the history of San Anselmo by providing walking tours, exhibits, and numerous historical collections. In the heart of San Anselmo, Robson Harrington Park is a great place to wander around, enjoying the community gardens and sunshine on this historic acreage. The turn of the century home located on the property is available for rentals, and the park is perfect for family picnics. 
 
Live on the Avenue happens every summer with live entertainment on various weekend dates on San Anselmo Avenue. The avenue is shut down to motorists so attendees can leisurely stroll, enjoying the live music, food, and shopping.
 
Holidays are festive in San Anselmo, and you won’t want to miss the annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony held in Imagine Park. It’s not hard to get into the holiday spirit during this magical evening of tree lighting, Santa visits, and complimentary refreshments.
